We all knew it was going to happen soon. First it started with pulling up on my coffee table and cruising around the table doing laps. Then she would pull up on whatever she could grab and hang onto. Next, she wanted to test the waters by using me and Josh to pull up, get her balance, and let go of us to stand for a second before falling on her bum. Then she decided she was comfortable falling back without us by her side so she would pull up on the couch, get her balance, let go, stand for a second or two, and fall down.
AND repeat over and over again until she got tired. No wonder why this girl naps for two hours!
So after a few days of practicing, her balance has improved and she can pull up to stand on her own for as long as five to six seconds, relatively. Long enough for me to take a picture on my phone and not be blurry. And as you can see, she can stand with an object in her hands.
I mean it was little over a month when she figured out how to KINDA crawl (she still crawls with her right leg extended to the side instead of having it bent so she can crawl on her knee). I guess she wants to walk like mommy and daddy so she refused to get her crawling stance corrected although she is a fast crawler!
Things are crazy now. She is not even 8 months! She might be walking into her 9th month check up! Geez! LOL
